Hot water circulator

Circulating hot water heat depends on a steady flow of circulating hot water. If the circulator pump is faulty then there will be little or no hot water circulating.

When it’s time to service your circulator pump makes sure that you purchase the same make and model as the one that is not operating. If buying the same pump is not possible make sure that you get some guidance from a D'Angelo Plumbing and Heating professional regarding what is the best pump to buy to service the existing non functional one.

The first thing you want to do is to turn off power to the electrical circuit that is powering the circulator pump. Do not attempt to service the pump without power turned off. If power cannot be turned off seek the help of a qualified professional. The cover plate must be removed from the pump. Disconnect the connections to the pump.
